Romeo Beckham, 23, has been convicted of  a driving offence after he was pulled over by police in central London last September.

According to the court papers, the model was stopped at a red light when he was pulled over by police in Westminster after being caught on his phone. Romeo was reportedly in the driver's seat of his Porsche 911 Carrera when he was spotted scrolling on the mobile device with both hands.

There was also an "unrestrained" dog in the lap of an unnamed woman sitting in the passenger seat of the car.

"I looked across at the driver. I saw that he too had his head tilted down and appeared to be looking down at a mobile phone he was holding low in his lap, near the base of the steering wheel," the officer said in a statement as per PA Media. "I could see that he was scrolling on the device with his thumbs."

Romeo was convicted on Thursday at Westminster Magistrates’ Court of being a driver not in a position to have proper control, and fined £440. He was given three penalty points on his drivers' licence, and was ordered to pay £130 in costs and a £176 victim surcharge.

Driving offences

Romeo's younger brother Cruz Beckham, 21, reportedly had his driving licence revoked in September after receiving his second speeding ticket within two years of passing his driving test. The budding singer was understood to have committed the driving offence on 2 September.

Cruz took to Instagram to reveal he had "just got done for doing 24 in a 20". Cruz had previously passed his driving test in September 2023.

In 2019, Romeo and Cruz's father David Beckham received a six-month driving ban after he was caught using his mobile phone behind the steering wheel in London. The former professional footballer had pleaded guilty and was given a £750 fine at Bromley Magistrates Court and six points on his driving license.
