The Game of Thrones family just got even bigger! Congratulations are in order for actor Toby Sebastian, best known as Trystane Martell on the smash hit HBO series, who has become a dad for the first time.
The 34-year-old British actor's wife, Scarlett Alexandra, confirmed their baby news on Instagram with a collection of heartwarming pictures as a new family of three. "Sprog & Spritz season [baby and drink emjois] already shaping up to be the best summer of me life," she captioned a collection of selfies with her husband and newborn and an adorable snap of Toby cradling his child, who slept in his arms.
Toby was on dad duty in another sweet picture of him holding the baby stroller while out on a walk.
The post, which was shared on 28 June, was inundated with messages congratulating the couple, including a few sweet words from Toby's younger sister, Raffie. "These are the best photos [heart eyes and red heart emojis]," she gushed.
Toby grew up with three siblings of his own, including another sister who is a very famous Hollywood actress.
Famous family connection
The Game of Thrones star's younger sister is Academy Award nominated actress Florence Pugh.
At 30 years old, Florence has well and truly made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, Midsommar, Little Women, Dune: Part Two and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Yelena Belova. The actress previously opened up about looking up to her big brother who got into acting when he was 16.
"I remember watching him for years so, by the time I stepped up, I kind of knew the harsh reality of how things worked," Florence told The Guardian in 2018.
The siblings appear to share a close bond, with Toby joining Florence at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards in 2023. The pair also share a big sister named Arabella who has gone on to pursue a career in music.
Toby collaborated with Florence
Like Arabella, Toby has also gone down the music path alongside acting, releasing a single called Midnight in 2021 which featured Florence's vocals. The track has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify alone since its release.
Toby revealed in a 2024 interview with The Times that his mother, Deborah, was the once to suggest he collaborate with Florence on the track, and praised his sister for having an "incredible voice".
"I’ve never really felt a lot of competition, which I know is probably a rarity in families, but I think it’s probably because we’re so spread out," he said of his family.
