Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, didn't hold back when discussing her uncle's personal aide, Natalie Harp, who has been thrust into the spotlight in recent months due to her close relationship with the president.
Join HELLO! as we delve into Donald and Natalie's strange bond, and discover what Mary really thinks of the duo.

Natalie is Donald's 35-year-old personal aide, who started working for him in 2022. She sparked Donald's attention back in 2019, when she appeared on Fox News to praise his "Right to Try" legislation that allowed certain patients to access experimental treatments for their illnesses that had not been approved by the FDA.
After kickstarting her career as a White House aide, Natalie quickly earned the nickname the "human printer", due to her habit of carrying around a portable printer to provide her boss with articles and social media posts written about him.
Natalie has seemingly been by Donald's side at every major event in recent months, with their close relationship coming under scrutiny in July. Following a NATO summit in Türkiye, the president reportedly exited Air Force One due to a security threat, leaving several people on board the plane unaware of his departure.
Natalie was among the select few who were discreetly escorted off the flight with him, prompting questions about the nature of their relationship.

Donald has showered praise on his personal aide on several occasions, and reportedly told White House staff that Natalie was the "only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids", per Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan's book, Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump.
He also reportedly claimed to his team that while "all of you will go off and make money," Natalie would "never leave" him. In 2026, The Daily Beast published a letter that Natalie had written to Donald during her time working for him, in which she called him her "Guardian and Protector in this Life".
"I miss the days you used to call, during my talk show days, and we’d talk about everything and nothing," she wrote. "I need to reunite with my past self with my current into a better version who will make you proud."
Natalie continued: “And please, when I fail, will you tell me? You have the absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more…You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down."

Mary, who is the daughter of Donald's brother, Fred Trump Jr., is also a clinical psychologist and author. She has been critical of her uncle and his family since his rise to power, and has published several books detailing what he is really like behind the scenes.
The 61-year-old claimed on The Daily Beast Podcast in October that Natalie had "the qualities of a stalker" and that there was something "psychologically wrong with her". She added that it was "the only case I've ever seen in which the stalking victim has welcomed being stalked".
"Donald is not getting the attention he needs, because nobody cares about him, which makes sense because he doesn’t care about anybody… [Natalie] is willing to fill that role,” Mary claimed.
"There are limits when people are sycophantic enablers. Even they have limits to the amount they are willing to be humiliated or have their lives in danger. Natalie Harp is a different type entirely. There’s something seriously wrong with her."

Mary then pointed out the contradiction of Donald and Natalie's close relationship and significant age gap, which would normally set off alarm bells with the public.
"Nobody seems to have a problem with it," she said. "If...an 81-year-old Democratic president was hanging out with a 35-year-old woman and spending more time with her than he did anybody else in his family, I'm pretty sure there would be a problem. But this is a different world we live in now."

Mary also issued a theory about her uncle, claiming that his relationships were all "transactional".
"It should become obvious to him that, you know, his children don't care about him any more than he cares about them," she said. "Those relationships are determined purely by who's getting what of whom."
"We’ve also seen cracks in the inner circle," Mary added, referring to former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who stepped down from the position in August.
Mary's remarks have cast a fresh spotlight on Natalie’s unusually close bond with Donald, from her declarations of devotion to her place within his inner circle.
