Myleene Klass is set to work with Man Versus Food host Adam Richman on a new TV show BBQ Champ. The 37-year-old will present the programme while Adam will judge alongside British chef and restaurateur Mark Blatchford.
The brunette beauty shared her excitement with fans on Thursday, tweeting: "Soooooooo excited to announce my new show! #BBQCHAMP @BBQTVSHOW @ITV #primetime."
The accompanying shot was of herself with a sausage strategically placed to represent a smile.
Adam, famous for presenting a series of popular food-focussed TV shows, also shared his joy at working with Myleene. "It's official! I'll be joined on my new @ITV @BBQTVSHOW "BBQ CHAMP" by the amazing @KlassMyleene! #TheAdventureBegins" he wrote alongside a snap of the duo.
Due to air in the summer, BBQ Champ will pit fellow enthusiasts against each other to be crowned king or queen of the grill.
From creating mouthwatering BBQ masterpieces to reinventing culinary classics for the coals and catering for the masses, each contestant will have to try their best to win Adam and Mark's approval.
One contender will be sent home every week, and there will be a cash prize of £25,000 for the winning barbecuer.
Speaking of the five-part series, Myleene said: "I am beyond excited to be hosting BBQ Champ.
"It’s no secret that I'm partial to a good burger, so to be able to see culinary magic happening as well as get to sample it in situ is my absolute dream job."
Adam Richman will be a judge on the upcoming new TV show
Judge Mark – who honed his skills at Claridges before launching restaurants around the world – said: "It is without doubt the tastiest, most versatile and yet most natural cooking method there is.
"To be part of the BBQ judging team alongside Adam Richman is brilliant and I can't wait to get stuck in to see what the competitors can do."
The show will see Adam tuck into BBQ delights, meaning he won't be on one of his perodical stints of eating vegan. He recently told HELLO! Online about the new healthy lifestyle that has seen him lose more than four stone. "I'm actually 100% vegan right now," he said earlier this year. "I've been vegan for the past three months, I do that periodically."
