Pancake Day proved to be a hit with a host of famous faces this year! David Beckham, Michelle Keegan and Fearne Cotton were just some of the stars who took to social media to give fans a glimpse of their Shrove Tuesday feasts. David showed off his impressive pancake-flipping skills in a short video, but he wasn't the only celebrity who recorded their attempts. Marvin Humes and Ronnie Wood also shared snaps and clips of their attempts, while Katie Piper shared an adorable video of her daughter Belle giggling while watching her dad have a go at the culinary trick.

It wasn't all about the art of flipping the perfect pancake – stars such as Michelle, Fearne and Giovanna Fletcher revealed their favourite recipes and toppings of choice, including classics such as lemon or Nutella. Meanwhile, some celebrity mums including Tamara Ecclestone and Myleene Klass gave their followers a sneak peek into their family life, whether posting sweet photos of their children tucking into the sweet treats or revealing what toppings their children had opted for.

David Beckham showed off his impressive pancake-flipping skills in a short clip posted on his Instagram account. "Happy Pancake Day, kids. Ready?" David is heard saying, as his five-year-old daughter Harper enthusiastically replies, "Yeah!". As for David's topping choices? Eagle-eyed fans noted that he had lemon juice and a Nutella jar at the ready.

Michelle Keegan was ready for Shrove Tuesday, buying a wide range of popular toppings including strawberry jam, lemon juice and maple syrup as she tucked into a pancake dinner at home.

Fearne Cotton used her culinary skills for a good cause, creating "boobified" pancakes in support of charity Coppa Feel, which aims to teach people to check themselves for signs of breast cancer. "Here are my boobified pancakes for @coppafeelpeople," the TV presenter wrote in the accompanying caption. "I hope it reminds you to check your boobs. Giovanna Fletcher was away from home on Shrove Tuesday on a book tour to celebrate the launch of Happy Mum, Happy Baby, but one fan treated her to some pancake goodies so she could get into the spirit of things.
