This week resident HFM columnist, fashion and lifestyle blogger Kelly Eastwood of The London Chatter, launched her second 'Buy to Give' collaboration, the 'Watamu Turtle Pouch' with British homewear brand Elizabeth Scarlett.

Elizabeth Scarlett and Kelly Eastwood

Both Kelly and Elizabeth Scarlett founder Elizabeth Elsey, hosted an intimate breakfast in the festively decorated private dining room at Balthazar in Covent Garden. In attendance were top bloggers and influencers Niomi Smart, Liv Purvis and Rosie Fortescue, wellness guru Jasmine Hemsley and presenter Venetia Falconer. Guests also included Matthew Williamson's business director Rosanna Falconer, makeup artist Charlotte Cowen, nutritionist Zoe Stirling, and wildlife photographer Freya Dowson.

We love the adorable turtle pouch

All of the profit from these limited edition, intricately embroidered cotton teal pouches goes directly to the Local Ocean Conservation, a non-profit organisation based in Kelly's home village of Watamu in Kenya. Local Ocean are committed to the protection of critically endangered and threatened sea turtles and the preservation of Watamu's spectacular Marine Park and Reserve. Guests each received their own 'Watamu Turtle Pouch' the perfect travel companion, which were filled with Kelly's other 'travel essentials,' spoiling gifts from Jo Malone, Caudalie, Charlotte Tilbury, Spacemasks, ASOS Africa, and Sisley Paris.

The stylish event was held at Balthazar in Covent Garden

Kelly told us:

"I have grown up in awe of the work Local Ocean undertake to protect the marine life and the beaches in the village I call home, Watamu. I have been lucky enough to help with many of the turtle releases, and I can tell you first hand, nothing brings more joy than watching these beautiful beings healthily return back into the wild. Being an avid fan of Elizabeth Scarlett homewares, and sharing such mutual passions (primarily, a love of pineapples!) with her, I'm thrilled we are working together to raise some vital awareness and funds for Local Ocean Conservation."
