A week packed full of royal events comes to a close, with Princess Eugenie announcing her pregnancy, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's incident near his Sandringham home, and King Charles hosting his first Buckingham Palace garden party of the year.
But the royal calendar continues as usual, with the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Zara Tindall joining Charles for another garden party on Friday.
Taking a break from her equestrian competitions, Zara, 44, looked striking in an electric blue midi dress with a belt accentuating the waist and cut-out flowers on the skirt, which she accessorised with matching heels and a fascinator. She wore her blonde hair in a chic updo, with the front section curled and framing her face.
Formal fashion
Princess Anne's daughter has only made a handful of formal outings where she proved her fashion credentials recently. On 10 April, she stepped out for Ladies Day of the Randox Grand National Festival 2026 at Aintree Racecourse alongside her husband, former England rugby star Mike Tindall, and their 12-year-old daughter Mia.
Zara opted for a cinched suit by ME + EM in a soft peach sorbet colourway, which she accessorised with metallic gold 'Rebecca' pumps by Emmy London and the 'Stylist' clutch by Strathberry.
Weeks later, Zara, who is a doting mother to Mia, Lena and Lucas, looked glamorous for a low-key night out at an Evening with Lewis Moody and Friends.
Posing alongside Natalie Pinkham, the 44-year-old royal wore one of her go-to Rebecca Vallance midi dresses, complete with a fitted silhouette, dramatic puff sleeves and gold sequin-embellished floral appliqués.
Garden parties
Buckingham Palace's annual garden parties offer the perfect opportunity for royals to showcase their summer wardrobe.
The season kicked off earlier this week, when King Charles hosted the first party on the anniversary of his coronation, just days after he returned from a state visit to the United States and Bermuda.
The monarch looked suave in a black suit, while his wife, Queen Camilla, wore a pastel-blue embroidered dress from Fiona Clare, and Princess Anne opted for a neutral cream ensemble.
The party at Buckingham Palace paid tribute to frontline workers across the United Kingdom, whether through volunteer work, working for the emergency services or supporting charitable causes.
