Whenever we are stuck for summer style inspiration, looking at what Pippa Middleton wore in her Chelsea girl days in London is a fabulous way to start.
One moment that seriously caught our attention was when the Princess of Wales' younger sister, 42, ventured out on a bike ride in SW3, the picture of summer in a floral sundress, showing off her glowing suntan.
The dress in question was a navy blue and lilac number covered in an elegant floral design with the addition of a figure-flattering waist-cinching belt.
The mother-of-three was beaming for the snaps, her brunette locks styled impressively straight, given her activity.
Completing her summer look, Pippa added a pair of ultra-glamorous brown sunglasses to battle the beating sun-rays in London's most affluent postcode. On her feet, Pippa kept it casual with a pair of flip flops.
Pippa and Kate's Chelsea girl life
Prior to her elder sister tying the knot with England's future King, Pippa lived with Kate and their younger brother James Middleton, in a rather glamorous £1.88million Chelsea apartment.
The decadent home is formed of three storeys with three bedrooms (one master suite with an en-suite), two bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, kitchen and a guest bathroom. The bedrooms were all situated on the very top floor.
According to James, 39, Prince William even spent some time within the glamorous walls of the property.
Reflecting on those years in his memoir, Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life, James said: "By now, William has been dating Catherine for six years, so I know him well and there is no scramble to clear up when he comes to supper.
"Sometimes I'll be walking back to our flat late in the evening when an officer in a police protection car, parked discreetly up the road, alerts me to the fact that William is visiting, and Ella and I will make an extra lap of the block to delay our return."
James also candidly admitted that the home would get "messy" thanks to his visits! He writes: "I still have a toehold in Edinburgh but spend more time in London now, where Pippa and Catherine are not too thrilled to have their little brother disrupting their orderly, tidy existence, strewing damp clothes over the bathroom floor, leaving unwashed crockery in the sink and letting Ella pad wet-pawed across the living room carpet."
He added: "But they bustle round in their kind, sisterly way, clearing up after their messy little brother with only the mildest of rebukes."
