Princess Rajwa of Jordan privately celebrated the birth of her twin nieces this week, but publicly, business continued as normal.
On Wednesday, the royal joined her husband Crown Prince Hussein for a meeting with the top-performing Tawjihi achievers for the 2025-2026 academic year at Basman Palace. Showing off her effortless smart-casual style, Rajwa stepped out in an ivory Edeline Lee blouse featuring cropped sleeves with trailing cuff tassels, paired with matching Gianvito Rossi leather slingback heels, according to Royal Fashion Police.
The classic outfit formula created a cohesive look while keeping the focus on her high-waisted, mushroom-coloured trousers. Their pleated design, combined with her pointed-toe heels, gave the illusion of elongated legs.
Exciting family news for Crown Prince Hussein's sister
This comes amid an exciting family announcement, with Hussein's sister Princess Iman – whom Hussein and Rajwa's daughter is named after – welcoming twin daughters Talia and Rania with her husband Jameel Alexander.
Queen Rania shared photos of the newborns wrapped in pink and white blankets as they were cradled by family members. "Healthy, happy, and finally here. We’ve been waiting so long to meet you, Talia and Rania," the doting grandmother gushed in the caption of the Instagram photos.
While Princess Salma and Prince Hashem appeared equally excited to meet their new nieces, Hussein and Rajwa were notably absent in the snaps – perhaps due to their busy work schedule.
Princess Rajwa's recent fashion moments
Among her recent royal commitments was a visit to celebrate graduates from the Al Hussein Technical University. Princess Rajwa looked striking in a slate grey oversized shirt featuring a jacquard print, which she paired with the matching pleated skirt with a metallic silver sheen. She completed her Toga Archives set with a black Alaia bag worth £1.7k.
It marked a departure from her signature style, which tends to include sharp tailoring and waist-defining trousers.
For her 32nd birthday, the Royal Hashemite Court released a photo of the Princess wearing a chic all-black look, broken up only by a brown belt.
Assessing the royal's birthday look, Oriona Robb, a luxury stylist with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, previously told HELLO!: "The all-black tailoring is clean and incredibly refined, but it's the double belt detail that quietly transforms the look.
"Rather than feeling purely classic, the belt introduces shape and a modern edge, it carves out the waist, adds visual interest, and gives the outfit a more directional, fashion-forward finish without overpowering the simplicity."
