Princess Beatrice has carefully crafted her public image after coming under fire for some of her more outlandish looks in the past.
Now, she is known for her penchant for structured silhouettes such as The Vampire's Wife dresses or feminine florals by Beulah London. But several underrated outfits from her childhood have slipped under the radar.
Notably, we stumbled across the Princess' ballerina look from her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Joining Prince William, Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie, the 13-year-old was pictured walking into the forecourt of Buckingham Palace in an ethereal all-pink outfit that wouldn't look out of place today.

Even her ballet flats and handbag were in the same shade of bubblegum, perfectly offsetting her red hair.
Princess Beatrice on dealing with public scrutiny
Living in the public eye has not come without its difficulties, particularly following her father Andrew's arrest in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we're also princesses, and doing all of this in the public eye."
The siblings noted they rely on each other for support, with Eugenie recalling an incident at a Buckingham Palace garden party. "There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset.
"We were just about to step out and she had a bit of a wobble and cried. I was looking after her. And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me," she added.
How Princess Beatrice brushes off criticism
© GettyOne of Beatrice's most notable fashion moments was at the Prince and Princess of Wales' wedding in 2011, when she hit the headlines for her elaborate hat from Philip Treacy.
Beatrice refused to let the harsh comments rattle her, brushing off comparisons to a toilet seat and a pretzel to pivot the infamous fashion moment into an inspiring outcome. She sold the hat at auction for around £81k the month after the wedding to raise funds for UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
In a statement released by UNICEF, the Princess said: "I cannot believe the amazing response to the hat. It has its own personality, and I am so happy that we have raised the most incredible amount of money and can make an even bigger change in the lives of some of the most vulnerable children across the world."
Treacy later defended the hat, describing the criticism as "extreme" and stating on Desert Island Discs in 2018: "There was a moment where I thought I would find myself with my head on a spike outside the Tower of London"
