On Wednesday morning, the Princess of Wales headed to West Sussex for her latest royal engagement. The royal visited the West Sussex Minibus, a volunteer-led community transport organisation, which acts as a vital lifeline for people who cannot easily access public transport due to isolation, mobility challenges or financial barriers.
Celebrating 50 years of its service this year, the all-volunteer community transport organisation has grown hugely since it was founded. During her visit, Kate boarded a minibus and met with volunteers.

Mrs Drewett was told of her VIP guest shortly beforehand and said: "I couldn’t quite believe it. I am quite a new member. It’s a great service. I used to drive myself until I decided to spare the other road users. Everyone said to me ‘But what are you going to do now?’ And I did think ‘Oh gosh what am I going to do now?’ But they take me to the supermarket once a week and we go down to the village hall for the lunch club. It’s a very valuable service. It’s wonderful."
Princess Kate's busy week
This is the second royal visit in under 48 hours that the princess has participated in. On Tuesday, she and Prince William stepped out for a surprise outing, travelling to the northern part of the country.
The royal couple, who have been married for fifteen years, visited Headingley Rugby Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos, to learn about the moving work of rugby league legends Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield to raise awareness of motor neurone disease (MND).

Dressing mindfully for the meeting, Kate chose a tailored, slightly subdued look of simple black flared trousers by Roland Mouret, a black Joseph tank top, and one of her famed fashion staples, a double-breasted blazer by Ralph Lauren. The past-season buy was created in a sumptuous racing green shade which will carry her through the seasons.

On Thursday, Kate made a solo appearance in Southend-on-Sea for her visit to the Forward Trust to mark Addiction Awareness Week.
