Settling into British life, Meghan Markle was spotted on a dinner date with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai at Claridge's, London.
Prince Harry's wife was seen by a group of friends, who shared a video of themselves cheering with glasses of wine on TikTok, with Meghan and Malala deep in conversation behind them.
Instagram account @WhatMeghanWore shared the Californian-born royal's outfit details, which were as classic as always. Meghan showcased her timeless, quiet luxury look with a terracotta coat from Tove, a sweater from Co, her much-loved Saint Laurent loafers and jewellery from one of her favourite brands, Logan Hollowell.
Alongside a dazzling vintage Chanel bag, Meghan appeared to carry a humble tote bag, made from cotton. This relatable item is something many people use, particularly when commuting. The durable style can hold an array of items that are too big for a regular handbag. As a fashion editor who carries my laptop to work each day with a similar bag to Meghan's, it was great to see the royal embracing this handy trend, too.
Meghan Markle loves handbags
There is no denying that the former Suits star has a love for designer handbags and has amassed quite an impressive selection over the years. From Strathberry to Gucci, Meghan's collection features lots of high-fashion details.
Interestingly, the first bag she was seen with when she started dating Prince Harry was also a tote bag.
When Meghan attended the Invictus Games in Toronto with then-boyfriend Harry in 2017, she wore a simple yet chic ensemble which consisted of well-cut jeans, a classic white shirt, smart pumps and, of course, a fabulous tote bag. The Everlane Day tote in cognac was made from Italian leather and fit all of Meghan's essentials.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return - the lowdown
Meghan and Harry have been settling back into life in the UK after relocating with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in late August. Since their return, the pair have been enjoying a plethora of pubs.
The couple were seen enjoying a cosy pub date on 2 October at The Falkland Arms in the Cotswolds, and Meghan reunited with TV personality Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, on 21 September at The Three Horseshoes pub in Oxfordshire. Despite their return, Harry and Meghan will remain non-working royals, as King Charles confirmed, and they have chosen to reside outside of London.
