Jordan's Princess Rajwa oozed elegance at the opening session of the Jordanian Parliament, where King Abdullah delivered a speech.

Crown Prince Hussein's wife, 32, commanded attention in her beautiful blue midi dress from Temperley London, which featured long sleeves, a high neckline with a keyhole cut-out, and a fluid skirt that fell to her shins.

She teamed the 'Madame Sheath Dress', which had a soft brocade print, with a grey Saint Laurent Sac de Jour bag and matching Gianvito Rossi suede heels.

With her long, brunette hair styled in loose waves, it was easy to see why Rajwa has long been compared to the Princess of Wales.

Temperley London is loved by the royals

Her latest look also has ties to the Middletons. Pippa famously wore a bespoke emerald-green Temperley gown to the evening reception of the 2011 royal wedding, while Catherine has similarly stepped out in several gowns from the label since marrying Prince William.

For example, at the January 2012 London premiere of War Horse, Catherine stepped out in a floor-length black French lace gown featuring a cream silk underlay and a delicate velvet bow belt, which she later re-wore to a St Andrews University 600th-anniversary gala and to a David Attenborough documentary screening.

Temperley is not only a go-to brand for evening receptions; Catherine also wore the white 'Lotus' shirt dressed down with jeans and cowboy boots during the 2011 tour of Canada.

Alice Temperley on working with the royals

Despite her famous clientele, designer Alice Temperley is loath to share many details about what her high-profile clients are really like behind closed doors.

The designer says she's "discreet" when it comes to her high profile clients

However, in a rare confession, she told The Telegraph: "The Duchess is an inspiration. She’s very graceful, gracious and she’s a brilliant ambassador for British fashion. She mixes up designer and high street; the perfect modern-day woman."

Speaking briefly about creating Pippa's backless wedding guest dress, she described it as "fun, easy, simple – she looked great. She added: "I’m not about banging drums or chasing after people and I will never ruin a relationship. They know I will be discreet."
