Stunning Jennifer on top of the world

With the baby of ex-husband Brad Pitt about to make its debut any day now, Jennifer Aniston has clearly moved on. Relaxed, tanned and showing off her fabulous pins in an itsy-bitsy pair of shorts and high heels, the actress seemed to be in her element as she left a TV studio on Wednesday.

The former Friend waved confidently to well-wishers after an interview with chatshow host David Letterman. During their talk the Hollywood favourite coyly laughed off persistent questions about boyfriend Vince Vaughn. Later she smiled as the audience whooped and cheered in response to the presenter's question: "Don't they make a terrific couple?"

At Monday night's premiere of The Break-Up, her movie with Vince, Jen was also greeted by screaming fans. Such was the crowd's enthusiasm one reporter joked she thought it was the Pope who'd arrived. Quick as a flash the actress shot back: "Is he here?".

Jennifer's good humour reflects her view that it's time to draw a line under the past. "Ain't nothing broke! Life goes on," she recently declared. "There's nothing to see here, folks. The beauty of human resilience is that you do bounce back."

And after making several films back-to-back in the last 18 months, 37-year-old Jen plans to take the summer off, which should give her plenty of opportunity to enjoy some downtime with her hunky beau.
