Orlando Bloom meets love Miranda Kerr's father down under

Stepping out together at one of the biggest events in Australia's horse racing calendar, Orlando Bloom and his love Miranda Kerr seem to be the picture of happiness. And the Pirates Of The Caribbean star has plenty to smile about after he was introduced to the other man in Miranda's life, her father John.

Reports in the Australian press state that 31-year-old Orlando joined the Victoria's Secret model and her parents at a restaurant the day before the much anticipated Emirates Doncaster Day on Saturday.

While the gorgeous couple are yet to officially confirm their relationship, they were first romantically linked together a year ago. And judging by their smiles, and the reports that Orlando's introduction to Miranda's family, their relationship is going from strength to strength.

Miranda has recently revealed that the handsome actor has already met mum Therese and her grandmother. Dismissing reports that her beau was nervously awaiting his first meeting with her dad, Miranda said: "He's a lovely guy, if I'm happy then he's happy."

"Of course he cares about his little girl and he's protective in his own way but he's very accepting of my choices," she added.

Wearing a striking netted black hat the 25-year-old joined her hunky beau at the prestigious racing event. And they were not the only stars who attended the annual black and white attire do.

X-Men star, and fellow Aussie, Hugh Jackman was also spotted accompanying his actress wife Deborah-Lee Furness, who he met on the set of TV drama Corelli in 1995, to the Royal Randwick Racecourse in the Australian city
