The One Chicago cast is going all out for their latest premiere day…seemingly except for Taylor Kinney.
The actor, 45, has played Captain Kelly Severide on the long-running Chicago Fire since its inception in 2012, and will do so once again as the show heads into its 15th season, set to premiere on October 7.
However, when visiting TODAY's Third Hour the morning before the big night, with Chicago PD's Marina Squerciati and Chicago Med's Darren Barnet, the actor joked about not being let in on a team tradition – a night at the ice rink.
As can be watched in the clip above, when Marina mentioned that she'd invited her castmates from the One Chicago universe to a Chicago Blackhawks game, Taylor quipped that he didn't get an invite after all.
"I did invite Med, I forgot about Fire," Marina joked in response, with hosts Craig Melvin, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer noting in unison that she forgot "the OG."
Sure enough, Chicago Fire was the first of the franchise to launch in 2012, followed by Chicago Med the year after, and finally Chicago PD in 2015. All three shows return with new seasons on October 7, Wednesday nights.
