The 47-year-old star reunited with her beloved co-stars during a tribute to director Jim Burrows. Sitting alongside her fellow actors Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc, they reminisced about the show.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers that we will forever remember," she said.
Jennifer revealed how much the role meant to her
"We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience with the world loving us, as well - they connected with us."
However, Matthew Perry, who plays sarcastic Chandler Bing, was unable to attend the reunion; he is currently starring in the West End play The End of Longing, which also marks his playwriting debut.
The show ran for a decade and ended in 2004
In January it was revealed that the Friends cast would be coming together for the two-hour special. At the time NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt told reporters: "I'm hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time." But, he admitted: "I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."
Fans of the show have been waiting for more than a decade to see the sitcom's stars reunited again; Friends came to an end in 2004, 10 series and a decade after it first premiered.
Nevertheless, co-creator Marta Kaufmann has been adamant that Friends won't be making a return any time in the future, telling E News! last year that fans "have to let it go. It'll never happen – not happening!"
