Michael Strahan left fans in total disbelief with a new video on Thursday following his much-awaited return to GMA.

The former NFL player shared the video to social media where he was seen atop the Empire State Building in NYC yelling at the top of his lungs: “It’s so good, I just wanna yell out, yes, New York, life is good, WOAH, yes, yes!” while enjoying a little happy dance to himself.

Fans were mesmerized by his dramatic outburst commenting: “Don’t get too carried away and fall off!”

Another mirrored their comment with even more concern: “I am sitting at home in my chair and still petrified of the height. Crikey! Stand back!”

Others were a little confused with his actions with one writing: “What is happening?”

The outburst comes after Michael was inundated with comments on social media on Tuesday when he shared a controversial message which can be viewed in the video below.

The Good Morning America host was asked a question by his fans and his defiant answer got them talking.

His Instagram feed blew up with people having their say, with many agreeing with him but plenty on the other side of the net. "Hell no," wrote one, while a second said: "You don't know what you're talking about."

GMA's Michael Strahan's divisive comment sparks major debate between his fans - what do you think?

Fortunately, the conversation was a fun one, despite the reactions.

GMA viewers have missed Michael recently as he's been absent from the show for two weeks. He made his return this week, much to the delight of his fans and co-hosts.

Turning to Michael after opening the show on Tuesday, Robin said: "It's good to have you back," to which he responded: "It's great to be back. I missed you two."

George added: "Wish you were coming back to better news," before introducing a report on the gun shooting at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky.
