T.J. Holmes will always have love for his Good Morning America family.
It has been over three years since he and fiancée Amy Robach were fired from ABC, after it was uncovered that the pair had begun dating in the midst of their respective divorces in late 2022, before they had publicly disclosed the splits.
And though the former GMA3 anchors have largely distanced themselves from the network, there is at least one former colleague that they remain good friends with.
Over the weekend, T.J. took to Instagram and shared a round of recent photos, among them him running a half marathon, on vacation with Amy, as well as snaps of his daughter Sabine, 13, who he shares with ex-wife Marilee Fiebig.
He then also included a photo with none other than Michael Strahan, who was his colleague on ABC for seven years.
Fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over the pics, with one writing: "These photos are stunning.. happy times!" as others followed suit with: "Keep living brother, amazing photos," and: "Beautiful pics! Happiness looks great on you two! Stunning!" as well as: "Love all the photos! You all look great! Seeing Sabine, she is beautiful!! Growing up fast!! Michael Strahan looking great!!"
Both T.J. and Amy have long maintained Michael has remained one of their biggest supporters since their contentious exit from ABC, even when other former colleagues distanced themselves.
In 2024, during a live taping of their podcast, they opened up about how their relationship with some of their colleagues deteriorated after their departure from ABCafter a fan asked what their colleagues were like at work in the time between the outing of their romance and their official departure.
"When we came back for those two days, we were surrounded with support. My dressing room was full of all of our colleagues," Amy shared, though T.J. then quipped: "Some of it fake, some of it fake, absolutely, some of it was B.S."
Amy then revealed: "Once it was clear that we weren't coming back, I never heard from most people again." Still, despite the call out, T.J. did add: "We get that to a certain degree, right, everybody's trying to hold onto their job," noting: "They don't want to be seen as being an ally of the two people that ABC News doesn't like, and we get it to a certain degree."
"Even we stayed away from some of our former colleagues because we were worried about them," he added, revealing at the time that they had recently had lunch with Michael, who hosts GMA with Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, and that even over a year later, they went out of their way to avoid calling attention to the fact that they were lunching together.
"I used to say, it's not like I murdered someone, but I definitely felt like that's how it seemed if you read comments anywhere," Amy also recalled.
