The Repair Shop team are filming new episodes at the Weald & Downland Living Museum this week, and it looks like they're having plenty of fun! Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Will Kirk shared several behind-the-scenes photos alongside his co-stars, and he revealed some of their hilarious on-set shenanigans.
Pictured alongside Jay Blades, Dominic Chinea and Dean Westmoreland, Will captioned the photos: "Classic school boy behaviour from @jaybladesmbe. All I wanted was a nice picture outside, but it turns out that shaking the gate whilst I'm sitting on it is more entertaining...."
Sparking a reaction from his 177k followers, many were quick to comment on the hilarious snaps. "Love the fact you can all mess about together as well as complete the serious work," replied one.
"Haha, your face when Jay shakes the gate. Lovely to see you having a laugh," added another. Meanwhile, a third penned: "That's how life should be – fun! Well done Jay."
The Repair Shop team have always shared a close bond, and they love working together. Back in December, Will shared a sweet photo from the show's Christmas party, and in the caption, he called the cast and crew his "family."
Jay has also reflected on his time at The Repair Shop and recently told The Guardian that he has no intention of ever leaving. "I don't see myself going anywhere," he said. "If they'll have me, you might see me grow very old in that barn. I already shave my head but my eyebrows might go grey."
Jay, who tied the knot with fitness trainer Lisa Zbozen last year, was also quizzed on how often he cries while filming the show, which frequently brings viewers to tears with the heart-rending stories behind the treasured items.
"Not that often because what I've realised is that it's not about me," he explained. "It's all about the person who's bringing the item in. My role is to ask why it's so important to them and listen to their story. I make sure I know nothing in advance.
"Thirty seconds before they come through the door, I'll ask the director their name and that's it. We just have a conversation."
