Netflix viewers have been staying up until midnight to binge-watch the new season of The Four Seasons.
Created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, the comedy-drama first landed on Netflix in May 2025 and followed three middle-aged couples who vacation together once every season. With a cast packed full of comedy royalty, including Steve Carell and Tina Fey, the series quickly became a fan favourite.
After earning a 78 per cent critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes for its debut season, the new instalment follows the group as they grapple with the aftermath of Nick's sudden death.
As someone who binge-watched the first season when it premiered, I can't wait to tune in and see how the close-knit group navigate life without their friend. With Tina Fey leading the charge both on screen and behind the scenes, viewers are bound to be laughing one minute and crying the next.
What are viewers saying about The Four Seasons series 2?
While season two has yet to receive a Rotten Tomatoes score, early viewers have already been full of praise for the new episodes.

Meanwhile, the new instalment has gone down a storm with critics. In its five-star review, The Guardian wrote: "Poignant, hilarious, loaded with a super-sharp script … the second outing for this midlife comedy is even more fantastic than the first."
The Times: "While we don’t necessarily come to TV for life lessons, The Four Seasons offers plenty. The biggest one being that when death strikes unexpectedly and cruelly, the show simply has to go on."
The Telegraph: "With respect, series two is such a blast that you barely even notice Nick’s death and Carell’s absence.
What to expect from The Four Seasons series 2?
Picking up after Nick's shocking death in a car crash at the end of season one, the new instalment reunites the friendship group as they continue their tradition of seasonal holidays – this time, with a baby in tow.
The synopsis reads: "The Four Seasons picks back up with the core group – Kate (Tina Fey), Jack (Will Forte), Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), Danny (Colman Domingo), Claude (Marco Calvani), and Ginny (Erika Henningsen) – as they journey from the familiar comforts of the Jersey shore and upstate New York to the stunning landscapes of Italy.
"With warmth and wit, personal blind spots surface for the group as they each grieve their late friend and embark on new adventures.

Tina Fey (30 Rock) stars as Kate, while Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth) plays her husband, Jack.
They're joined by Colman Domingo (Rustin, The Madness) as Danny, Marco Calvani (High Tide) as Claude, Kerri Kenney-Silver (The State) as Anne and Erika Henningsen (Girls5Eva) as Ginny.
