This year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up is shaping up to be one of its best, with the likes of Will Best, Dame Sarah Storey and even Delta Goodrem, and now we know that actress Jaime Winstone will also be heading to Elstree this autumn.

Jaime, the daughter of actor Ray Winstone, is known for her roles in Made in Dagenham, Wild Bill, Poirot and Four Lives. She received widespread acclaim for her portrayal of the legendary Barbara Windsor in the BBC biopic Babs.

On joining the line-up, Jaime said: "I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the Strictly Come Dancing cast this year. I am no stranger to a dance floor, but the ballroom is a whole new world for me. I love a challenge though, so can’t wait to enter my showgirl era and get super sparkly!! Let’s get physical – see you on the dance floor!"

We now patiently await the next announcement…

How is Strictly Come Dancing changing?

Fans will have a very different show when we head back to Elstree this year. Although the judges remain the same, we have three entirely new hosts, and there's been several changes to the pro line-up.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman confirmed back in October that last year's series would be their final one at the helm. It was later confirmed that Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe would be serving as their replacements.

The BBC has confirmed that new pros would be joining the line-up, but fans were gutted after it was revealed that Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Luba Mushtuk, Michelle Tsiakkas and Gorka Marquez had all left the show.

This wasn't the only exit, as It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara will also no longer be hosting the spin-off show, which is reportedly going to become a visual podcast when it returns in the autumn. Co-host Fleur East hasn't spoken about her future, but she did confirm that she was unsuccessful in her bid to host the main show.
