Calling all Agatha Christie fans! A brand new adaptation of the Queen of Crime's popular sleuthing duo, Tommy and Tuppence, arrived on US screens this week – and viewers are already loving it.
The detective pair are recurring characters in Christie's work, appearing across four novels and one short story collection – the first being the 1922 novel, The Secret Adversary.
The new BritBox series, Agatha Christie's Tommy & Tuppence, is a modern take on the story, reimagining the titular characters in present-day London.
As a big murder mystery fan, the six-parter will definitely be going on my watchlist when it eventually arrives in the UK. The show is penned by Phoebe Eclair-Powell (The Road Trip, Harm), while Fergus O'Brien (Happy Valley, The Tourist) and Ellie Heydon (Outrageous, Trying) direct – so it's safe to say Christie fans are in for a treat!
