Holly Willoughby is following the mantra "New Year, new you" and has opted for a dramatic haircut. The bubbly blonde has chopped off half of her hair and is proudly flaunting her new 'do on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of her platinum blonde wavy tresses from behind, Holly showed just how much she has taken off.

"May have had a tiny chop?!!! Thanks @cilerpeksah," she wrote.

The TV presenter won the seal of approval from her fans, as they complimented her on her fresh look. "Omg I love it Holly," wrote one follower, while another commented, "Looks fab and how brave you were to have a big cut."

Holly posted a second photo from the front, giving fans a clearer picture of her shoulder-length cut. The mum-of-three also showed off her trim figure in a leopard patterned top and high-waisted cigarette trousers.

Earlier this week Holly, 34, again used Instagram to reveal how she maintains her gorgeous blonde hues. The TV favourite pouted next to a bottle of hair dye which she used to touch up her roots, and wrote: "Kiss those Christmas roots goodbye! Xxx."

Holly, who is married to Daniel Baldwin, has been in the spotlight this week for her latest magazine cover. The Brighton beauty was asked to star as FHM's final cover girl and she carried out the honour with a bang.

The doting mum showed off her famous curves in tight outfits – something that Holly admitted she felt anxious about.

"I was so nervous about doing it," she explained on her show This Morning. "I loved it when I was there. But when they asked me to do it, I was like 'Really? I think my days might've gone… mum of three now'. But that kind of was part of the reason I did it as well."
