Cara Delevingne debuted a sleek new bob on Thursday

This marks a major change for the British beauty, who is renowned for her trademark long, wavy tresses. However, Cara hasn't committed to a completely short length just yet, opting for a 'lob' style that falls just above her shoulders.

Her new look didn't come as a complete surprise to her Instagram followers – earlier that day Cara had shared a photo of her chopped locks on the floor, after she turned to celebrity stylist Mara Roszak to help make the change.

The actress has always rocked long wavy tresses

Cara complemented her new 'do by teaming it with a slick of statement red lipstick, and her famous bushy eyebrows flawlessly groomed.

The model-turned-actress also upped the style stakes, looking as edgy as ever with a white T-shirt and black blazer, which she paired with camouflage-patterned cropped trousers and yellow lace-up heels.

Cara also revealed she got a new tattoo

Her new hairstyle wasn't the only change the star chose to make. Earlier that day, she revealed on Instagram that she had added a new tattoo to her already impressive collection of inkings. Turning to tattoo artist Doctor Woo, who has also worked with stars including Ellie Goulding and Miley Cyrus, Cara revealed that she has added an elephant design on her arm. "I've been Wooed @_dr_woo_," she quipped in the caption.

It's no doubt been a busy few months for the star who has been promoting her new film Suicide Squad, in which she stars opposite Will Smith and Margot Robbie. In the film, Cara will be starring as Enchantress, a witch with unlimited magical powers.
