Kylie Jenner never fails to wow with her edgy beauty looks, with the 19-year-old recently debuting a bold new platinum blonde hairdo. Now, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star has taken things one step further, and gone for an even lighter blonde shade to really make a statement.

Kylie Jenner has gone for an even blonder hair colour

The reality TV star took to Snapchat to unveil her new hair, which has been dubbed as 'silver blonde' by her legions of followers. Showing off her sense of humour Kylie used the app's popular 'dog filter' as she had her hair rinsed and dyed, before finally debuting the bold 'do.

Kylie first went platinum blonde as she headed to New York Fashion Week, where she attended a series of glitzy shows and bashes, including brother-in-law Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 show. The beauty guru also celebrated the launch of her and sister Kendall's pop-up store, where they held a star-studded party with older sister Kim Kardashian in attendance.

While Kim herself famously debuted a platinum blonde 'do for Fashion Week back in 2015, it seems that it was another of Kylie's famous siblings who inspired her to make the initial bold change.

Kourtney Kardashian had recently shared a throwback photo of herself with bleached blonde hair, and it seems that Kylie was a big fan of the look. She posted the photo on Instagram, simply writing "VIBES" in the caption to her 74.8 million followers.

Although Kylie is known for her love of wigs as a temporary way of experimenting with her looks, she squashed speculation that her blonde hair was a wig when she took to Snapchat to document her first bleaching process, as her hair was taken from its trademark dark chocolate brown hues to a bold blonde.

At one point, the star explained that she was torn between sticking to honey undertones, but she finally settled on an almost-white shade for a striking style.
