JAG star Catherine Bell, 58, showed off a huge hair transformation online.
The actress' daughter Gemma Beason, born in 2003, suggested that it was time to go for a bold cut, therefore, the star got a bob, which was reminiscent of her '90s character of Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie.
The clip that Catherine shared on social media featured Gemma telling her: "Mom, you have to get this haircut," while Catherine replied: "Really?"
Gemma added: "It's so cute. It's so '90s. Just try it." Catherine, who recently sported chest-long hair agreed, and the transitional shot showcased the star's new look.
She captioned the video: "When my daughter says it's time to go short… it's time to go short. @mrchrismcmillan always gets me feeling like my best self again #ShortHair."
Fans loved her shorter hair and flocked to the comments to support her. One person commented: "Sometimes daughter knows best!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!" A second follower continued: "Omg I have the chills, it's that good!!!!"
A third fan added: "M not sure what's cuter, the cut or you and Gemma together – just the cuuuutest."

When it comes to Catherine's haircare, she uses a mixture of items and products to keep her hair healthy.
According to her website, her favorite shampoo and conditioner is from Unite U's Luxury Pearl and Honey collection.
While her hair is still damp, she uses the Unite Detangler Spray, explaining: "Their seven-second detangler spray is like a mild leave-in conditioner! I use it on wet hair just before I blow dry, and it gets rid of all the frizz and smells so good too."
She uses The Wet Brush, being that it's "the gentlest detangler," according to the star. Catherine has a plethora of options when it comes to what hairstyle she's going for, therefore, she has four items at her disposal.
When she simply wants to dry her hair during her days off, she uses Dyson's The Supersonic Hairdryer, sharing: "It's an investment I know … but oh SO worth it!."
When the actress wants straight hair, she uses The Airstrait's Straghtener, revealing: "[It] can DRY hair and straighten at the same time!! So quick and so smooth."
Or she uses the L'ange Straightener, sharing: "This L'ange straightener is also amazing! Just doesn't also dry your hair. But for just plain straightening or putting in a little 'bend' or wave/curl and locking it in with their patented airflow system."
As for her curvy and wavy hair desires, she goes for Airwrap's Multi Styler, revealing that it's approved by daughter: "Gemma uses this for her amazing waves/curls."
