Emma Willis is reported to be the new host of Strictly Come Dancing, after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepped down from their presenting duties last Christmas. Though Emma has yet to confirm the news, the presenter is certainly qualified for the job, having hosted the likes of The Voice, Big Brother, and Love is Blind UK since making her TV debut in 2002 as a presenter for MTV UK.
Four years later, while working across MTV, Sky1 and the BBC, Emma made an appearance at The British Comedy Awards – and rocked a totally different haircut. The star, 50, was seen with warm brown curly locks that cut off at the chin.
Since then, an edgy pixie cut has become Emma's signature, which, in recent years, she has grown out to have plenty of volume at the root.
She made an appearance at The British Comedy Awards alongside her then-boyfriend, Busted star Matt Willis. The pair went on to tie the knot two years later in front of friends, family, and a host of celebrities, including Matt's bandmates and the members of McFly, as well as Holly Willoughby, Jason Donovan, and Kara Tointon.
For her big day, Emma, who is now a mother to Isabelle, 16, Ace, 14, and Trixie, 10, grew out her hair and wore it in an updo adorned with tiny flowers. Tying the knot at Rushton Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire, the bride looked striking in a Phillipa Lepley wedding dress with a fitted waist, a full-length tulle skirt, and an open back.
In 2018, Emma and Matt renewed their vows, returning to Rushton Hall. The bride re-wore the exact dress from 2006, and her beautiful short hair featured honey-hued highlights.
Why does Emma choose a short haircut?
The star always looks pristine, but she once revealed the true reason for rocking a shorter cut.
Speaking on Loose Women in 2021, the former This Morning presenter said: "I noticed my hair was really thinning, another [thing] I didn't know with my first pregnancy was how much hair you can lose afterwards.
"I lost so much of it, which is why I always cut my hair short, because it was really non-existent, it wasn't worth growing, so I cut it off."
