Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in the USA, taking part in the World Cup 2026. Making sure he appears fresh and ready for all eyes to be on him as he represents Portugal in the tournament, the father of six appears to have had a supreme makeover.
Hair stylist to the stars, Dimitris Giannetos, whose clients include Kim Kardashian and Amal Clooney, shared a carousel of images of the Al-Nassr player getting preened ahead of an event.
In the smouldering snaps, Cristiano can be seen having his hair coiffed by the talented professional, with his famously precise mane spritzed with L'Oréal Elnett hairspray, whose fans include the Princess of Wales.
In 2025, during an interview with Loud FM, the sporting legend, who is engaged to long-term partner Georgina Rodríguez, touched on the importance of looking after his appearance, particularly his hair. "It's better to do things with hair," he told the radio station, "I think so. Do you not agree with me? I prefer it. If you see me, for example, without the hair, I will not be the same Cristiano.”
The footballer, who hails from Madeira, added: "So many people don't care if they have hair or not. I believe with hair, you’re looking better. So this is just my opinion."
Dimitris also shared a snapshot of the former Manchester United star having face powder applied by famous makeup artist Patrick Ta. The bank of photographs generated huge interest, racking up over 100,000 'likes' and a large number of comments.
Although powder was applied, fans wondered if he was wearing any other makeup, so we called in the experts.
Is Cristiano wearing makeup?
"Cristiano’s complexion appears very even, and his under-eye area is smooth and bright, leading me to believe that possibly a light foundation has been used with a concealer," Jo Martin, international makeup artist for Paul & Joe, tells HELLO!.
"When you look closely, you can see there is some sculpting to the face, which is probably a cream bronzer that has been applied to contour the cheeks and forehead. This is well blended and subtle, though," the talented professional notes.
"His eyebrows are well-groomed and eyebrow gel has been applied, and his lips are finished with a lip balm, then a light, loose powder would be used to take down any shine," she noted.
"Cristiano has talked about how he feels looking well-groomed is important, and he likes to take his time getting ready for big events," Jo explains.
"Patrick Ta is tagged in the image, and he always creates a beautifully polished, camera-ready finish rather than obviously visible makeup," she added.
