Stella Maxwell opened up about her diet secrets to HELLO!

How do you keep fit ahead of the show?

Ahead of the show, I like to do varied exercises. Even just going for a hike with my friends, or taking my dog for a walk. Then going to see my trainer, or going to yoga. Sometimes I like to swim, too, since I have a pool, so sometimes I’ll get up in the morning and do a few laps, and it really just changes my day.

Do you change your diet months before? Any food in particular you cut out?

I try to always eat a balanced diet, I never try to change it too much. I just try to eat a little bit of everything – moderation is key with diet. I do add some more protein shakes, because I am working out more before the show, so I want to keep myself strong.

What’s your favourite workout to do before the show?

I’ve been doing a lot of yoga, because it really centres me – mentally, as well as physically. It’s just an hour of my day that’s always positive, and I always come out in a better mood.

What are you most excited about for this year’s show?

The fact that it’s in China, and I’ve never been to China! So I’m so excited to go explore, and see what China is all about. Also to see the performers – I don’t know who they are yet, but I can’t wait to find out. I can’t wait to see everyone’s outfits, and I just know it’s going to be a really killer show.

You became an angel in 2015, how did you feel when they announced the news?

It was probably one of the best days of my life. It was very surreal – definitely one of the biggest highlights of my whole career.
