Kylie Jenner has marked the launch of her new range of lipglosses with an eye-catching announcement. The 18-year-old released a short music video, looking effortlessly cool as she and a group of friends showed off new shades from Kylie Cosmetics.
Kylie gave fans a glimpse of the video on Instagram
In the short clip, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star looks as edgy as ever as she drives through the desert in a Rolls Royce, rocking a Louis Vuitton bandana and beige snakeskin patterned ensemble. Applying the pale pink lipgloss, the star then becomes the getaway driver for her gang of friends as they steal a suitcase of money.
While this is Kylie's first ever music video, she has already firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with, teaming up with Grammy-winning music video director Colin Tilley to help create the clip. It comes as no surprise that she turned to Colin – he has already worked with stars including Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora.
This marks the latest expansion of her Kylie Cosmetics range
The star will be launching three shades of lipgloss – 'Like' in a pale brown, 'Literally' in mauve hues and a pale pink shade named 'So Cute'. In less than a day the video, shared on YouTube, has already garnered over one million views, while social media has seen beauty addicts everywhere expressing their excitement at the latest addition to Kylie's beauty empire.
The new range includes three shades of lipgloss
The hype isn't surprising – Kylie already produces a range of lip kits which repeatedly sell out within minutes, with celebrities including Chrissy Teigen, Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera all spotted trying out the colours.
The reality TV star also celebrated the milestone moment with a chic luncheon hosted at her Calabasas mansion, where she and mum Kris Jenner invited over a group of friends, to whom they later gifted the new shades. The beauty guru documented the event in a series of Snapchat videos as she and her friends enjoyed the outdoors event.
