Congratulations to Heather Morris and her husband Taylor Hubbell, who are expecting their second child together. The former Glee star made the announcement on Wednesday, sharing a sweet photo of her tiny baby bump.

The picture shows Heather standing next to a large blue ruler that says "The Growing Hubbells", and used that as a hashtag in the caption.

Her former co-star and fellow mum-to-be Naya Rivera was quick to reply to Heather's happy news, tweeting: "So exciting! Congrats @HeatherMorrisTV #thegrowinghubbells".

The new arrival will be the second child for Heather and her long-term love Taylor – who welcomed their son Elijah in September 2013. The couple got engaged the following year and tied the knot on 16 May in front of their family, friends and Heather's co-stars.

The romantic al fresco ceremony took place in Topanga Canyon, not far from the pair's home in Los Angeles, with their adorable son stealing the show wearing a matching suit and shirt to his dad.

Following her first pregnancy Heather decided not to return for the fifth season of Glee and said she didn't want her career to interfere with her personal life.

"I want to have kids with him [Taylor]," she told Fitness magazine. "I love acting, but if it affects my relationship then I won't continue."

Heather is also a mum to 23-month-old son Elijah

The 28-year-old has since spoken of her joy at being a mother, telling E! News: "I love being a mom. Boys are the greatest, it's so fun."

Earlier this year the proud mum also talked about how her son Elijah – who is almost two – is growing up.

"He can count to ten! And he's drawing – he's a smart kid," she told Us Weekly. However she admitted her social life has taken a backseat since becoming a mum.

"I never get to go out."
