Liv Tyler shares sweet milestone as son Sailor learns to crawl

Liv Tyler's son Sailor is growing up fast. The Leftovers star couldn't resist capturing a precious moment when her baby boy, who she welcomed with partner Dave Gardner in February, began crawling over the weekend.

The sweet snap showed eight-month-old Sailor on his hands and knees as he attempts to crawl in what appears to be his nursery. The room was decorated with a number of Sailor's toys, including a huge teddy bear and model deer and rabbits.

Liv Tyler shared a picture of son Sailor crawling

"And he's up!!!!!!!" Liv captioned the image.

The proud mum later shared another photo of Sailor enjoying a country walk with his dad, showing the tot smiling as he is strapped to his dad's chest. Both Dave and Sailor were wrapped up for the cool autumn weather in hooded padded coats, with the doting dad fastening his jacket around Sailor to keep him extra cosy.

Liv captioned the image: "Country walks. Sailor and daddy @davidgardner."

Sailor's progression to crawling is not the only 'first' Liv has shared with her fans on Instagram; she has also recently showed off her son with his first teeth as well as pictures of the baby boy bonding with his godfather David Beckham in September.

The family also enjoyed a country walk together on Sunday

"Sailor Gene holding hands with his God father @davidbeckham @davidgardner," Liv captioned one image of David holding the youngster's hand.

Both Liv and Dave appear to be head-over-heels in love with their son and often share sweet family photos on social media. The couple, who began dating in summer 2014, are also preparing for another milestone in their relationship as they plan their upcoming nuptials.

While the pair have been secretly engaged since Christmas, it is only recently that Liv has proudly showed off her engagement ring with an Instagram photo that offered an up-close glimpse at the stunning piece of jewellery.
