Proud new grandmother Kris Jenner has been opening up about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new arrival. Kim, 35, welcomed her second child, son Saint, on Saturday – and Kris has shared some details about the delivery.
"She was amazing," the momanager told the press while attending a Women in Entertainment breakfast event organised by Hollywood reporter on Wednesday.
"I mean, she’s a really strong girl – a little cranky when she gets uncomfortable – but other than that, she's amazing.
Kris Jenner said daughter Kim Kardashian was "strong" but "a little cranky" during the delivery
"She’s doing great right now. I think she's happy that part of it is over, and he's here."
On Monday, Kim checked out of the Cedars-Sinai hospital with her newborn baby boy. The happy family of four are currently staying at Kris' house while their own home in Calabasas is being remodelled. Fans will remember that Kim and Kanye also stayed with Kris following the birth of daughter North in June 2013.
Speaking about her new grandson, Kris said: "He's amazing. We've only known him for a few days so we'll see if he's calm, or you know, anxious. You know, we'll see what kind of kid he is."
Kim and Kanye announced their son's unique name on Monday
Kris – a mum of six, and grandmother to five – admitted to not knowing exactly how Saint's parents decided upon on his name, but said it totally suits him.
"I love the baby name. It's amazing," the 60-year-old said. "He's definitely a saint. It's perfect."
Kris was also asked if Caitlyn Jenner had met the new arrival yet. "I don't know if she made it to the hospital or not, but we definitely went a few times, and now he's home we're happy that he's safe and sound and all tucked in, so it's good."
