James Wolk and his wife Elizabeth have welcomed their first child, a bouncing baby boy! The star of Mad Men and Zoo announced the happy news by sharing the sweetest photo on Instagram. The gorgeous image showed new dad James bending down to cradle his newborn, who was sweetly swaddled in a blanket. James, 31, also revealed his son's name: "Welcome to the world, Charlie Wolk. #babyboy #CharlieWolk #wolkpartyof3."
The actor has been counting down the days to his baby's arrival. Two weeks before he announced his son's birth, James posted an artsy photo of his wife Elizabeth posing side-on and revealing her very large bump. "Finish line," he simply captioned the image.

The TV star has been working hard to fully prepare for his new role, which has included some DIY stints. James set to work building book shelves for the nursery last month, and joked in another Instagram snap: "What could be tougher than building some shelves? I got this dad thing down." The final result looked pretty impressive – no fewer than four rows of book shelves positioned close to his son's crib.

It's likely that James will relish reading to his little boy; the actor sweetly read to his wife's bump two months before her due date. The heartwarming photo of James and his wife's baby bump proved too much for some fans. "Ohh soo precious!!" wrote one fan, while another cooed: "Awwwwww this is everything."
