The vibes are high in the Pelphrey-Cuoco household right now, after Tom Pelphrey's win at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards.
The actor, 44, took home his very first Primetime Emmy on Monday night for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work in Task.

After his win, speaking with E! News, Tom gushed about the coming arrival of his and Kaley's second daughter, and how they're preparing for baby no. 2. The couple already share three-year-old Matilda Carmine Pelphrey.
"We're both so excited," he said. "Our daughter's excited. We'll see how it goes when the baby actually gets there, but switching rooms, swapping things around and laughing at how different it is from one to two," explaining that there are some "things that feel like not a big deal this time" compared to their first child.
The Ozark actor said that his biggest hope was that "mom and baby are healthy," and revealed that he and Kaley, 40, already had a name picked out for their second baby, although quipped that it won't be "Emmy" after the big win.
© Getty Images"That was not the plan," he continued. "We have one. We always leave open the possibility that she'll sort of declare herself. So we'll see."
Tom also spoke about finding the balance between Task's intense drama and coming home to a growing family. "It's actually really easy when you get to fully live it out at work. There's a kind of mini catharsis every day."
"The writing is beautiful and we had amazing directors," he added. "So you get to fully live through what's been living inside of you for months each day, and then you leave it and you come home. In that way, work feels healthier than ever, honestly."
© Getty ImagesTom and Kaley went official with their relationship in 2022, shortly after the latter's divorce from her second husband Karl Cook was finalized. They welcomed their daughter Matilda the following year, and announced their engagement in 2024.
In June, the couple announced that they were expecting their second girl with a photo of their confetti-covered gender reveal cake. "Completing our little family , what a dream come true!" Kaley wrote alongside the announcement on social media.
"This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life."
