The actress is working with Botanics on a new skincare campaign

Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh is the new face of Botanics #skinfit campaign, which champions simple plant-based skincare. As part of her involvement with the beauty brand, the actress filmed an exclusive video for HELLO! where she unboxed her top five favourite products from the Botanics line. She says of the range: "Partnering with Botanics was a no brainer - I have been a massive fan of the brand for years due to its plant based natural offering that is perfect for my sensitive skin. Whether I’m going to the gym, getting on a plane or having a pampering night in, Botanics really always comes to the rescue and fits in to my daily routine effortlessly."

Lucy recommends the brand's Microderm Abrasion Polish for exfoliating, the All Bright Soothing Eye Makup Remover and the 100% organic Facial Oil which she says she used before bed. She also picks the Facial Moisturiser with SPF15 and Botanics Hot Cloth Cleanser. Botanics skincare uses five key ingredients: rosehip, hibiscus, clary sage, ginkgo and purple orchid. The star recommends two further products: Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz and Organic Super Balm.

Since finding fame on TOWIE, Lucy has gone on to launch her successful fitness business Results with Lucy, as well as conquering the world of fashion with her store Lucy's Boutique. She has since worked with beauty brand Barry M Cosmetics, sportswear brand Ellesse and online retailer V By Very. Her involvement with Botanics is just another string to her bow.

The former TV star is now in a relationship with former Corrie star Ryan after meeting him while filming for Channel 4's Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in April. However, since Ryan joined Australian soap Neighbours last year, the pair are now in a long-distance relationship. The 33-year-old actor landed a role on the popular Melbourne-based soap in October, where he will play Rafael Humphreys.
