Are fashion month hair transformations a thing? They are according to Emily Ratajkowski. The supermodel has once again experimented with a new hairdo, but this is perhaps the most dramatic hairstyle she’s ever sported.
We’ve been following the 31-year-old’s hair journey closely over the last year or so thanks to her apparent experimental hair era, and the innate ability to literally pull off every single chop possible.
Though she’s recognisable for adding a choppy fringe (pun intended after she trimmed her own fringe on TikTok last year), or switching up the length of her signature brunette tresses, it seems the High Low with EmRata host is also not shy of dramatic colour switchup (remember when she went bleach blonde in 2020?).

Now she’s taken to her Instagram stories to debut her latest colour – fiery red. The super close up, captionless image let her shocking red locks do the talking.
Though on closer inspection it appears that Emily may have just used a filter to switch up her hair colour, the supermodel confirmed this when she stepped out at Loewe's AW23 show in Paris on Wednesday wearing a wacky plant leaf as a top, with her brunette tresses still firmly intact.

We wouldn’t be surprised if her red hair does become a thing, because as always, the mum-of-one proves she could undoubtedly rock being a redhead.
She is the undisputed queen of ‘try before you buy’ using wigs (and filters) to sport new hairdos before braving the real thing. Genius.

At NYFW last month she debuted a Pulp Fiction-esque French bob (wig) at the Marc Jacobs show, joining the growing list of the fashion set who have made short hair the must-have for spring 2023.
It was also during NYFW in September that Emily actually sported a new look, debuting a sultry side swept face framing fringe.
The model seems to have been experimenting with her tresses ever since her breakup with husband of four years, Sebastian Bear-McClard in 2022. Perhaps the undisclosed remedy for a breakup is hair experimentation?
She absolutely nails every single look she tries and, as always, we are obsessed.
