Queen Letizia of Spain is a total elegant-dressing style muse. And her most recent outfit boasts the ultimate dress to add to your wardrobe for spring.
The former journalist stepped out at an International Rare Diseases Day event in Santiago de Compostela on Thursday and served a stellar head to toe ‘dopamine dressing’ style agenda.

International Rare Diseases Awareness Day (usually the last day in February) aims to raise awareness about rare diseases and their impact on people's lives. Equal access to treatment was a key theme in this year’s campaign.
Queen Letizia wore a pink shirt dress to the event
Letizia brightened up the room wearing the ‘Taffeta Shirt Dress’ from Spanish brand Roberto Verino which boasted an elegant A-line silhouette. The shirt collar elevated it to gave a smarter feel, whilst the wide waist-tie belt in the same airy fabric created a super flattering shape.
The cheerful colour scheme ran all the way through the look. She paired the midi dress with fuchsia croc-print slingback pumps from the Duchess of Sussex’s favourite brand, Carolina Herrera. Her only bijouterie was an elegant pair of 18kt rose gold earrings boasting diamonds and emeralds.
Aside from Letizia's welcomed pop of pink, the versatility of the shirt dress is unrivalled, making it the perfect style for spring. The light, airy fabric is great for keeping cool, yet can easily be layered with a jumper or a cardigan if it's still chilly outside. All whilst looking effortlessly elegant.
