Disney has opened a new official homeware store, and it's just as magical as it sounds. Filled with everything from glasses to dining sets and cushions that pay homage to Mickey Mouse and other iconic Disney characters, it's no wonder it's flying off the shelves.
The collection will change from season to season, so expect BBQ and picnic accessories for the summer, and an array of Disney-themed Christmas decorations later on in the year. There are also stylish collections inspired by various popular Disney classics, such as Be Our Guest plates, bowls and linens to help you to host a dinner party inspired by Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

There is even a section of the store dedicated entirely to pets, so you can dress up your dog just like Mickey and Minnie, or simply upgrade their food bowl or collar to one of the kitsch and colourful Disney designs.

Unfortunately, the store is currently only open in the Downtown Disney district in California, but several of the pieces are available to buy online for shipping to the UK, and are also available at other Disney Parks (even more excuse to book that Disney holiday).

In addition, you can find many Disney homeware pieces at the Disney Store, including towels, cushions and cups that will be loved by both little ones and big kids alike. Meanwhile, Primark has become another place to go for authentic Disney memorabilia; in June the store caused a stir with its Beauty and the Beast collection, including a cute 'Chip' teacup that quickly sold out and proved to be one of the most covetable items of the year.

Disney Home is one of the newest stores within the recently-refurbished Downtown Disney district promenade area, which is located at the original Disney theme park, Disneyland California.
