The fate of Tim's estate depends on whether the star had a will in place. With a will his assets will be divided by the beneficiaries named, but without a will, according to California inheritance laws, Tim's fortune will be classed as "intestate'. The state will then look into potential surviving family members and work out who the money and assets should be divided up between, but this process will take much longer.
The house in question is a unique Mediterranean-style home which was originally set to be demolished not long before Tim snapped it up.
According to Architectural Digest, designer the late Jim Lassiter assisted Tim with the property, which has burnt orange and mustard yellow rooms. Tim's passions at the residence included gardening and collecting artwork.

After his university studies in Birmingham, the English-born star threw himself into acting roles. Some of his most notable being his iconic portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the murdering clown Pennywise in Stephen King's It. As well as Clue, Annie and Home Alone 2.

The famed actor had battled severe health complications for over a decade, including an abdominal aneurysm and a debilitating 2012 stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side and reliant on a wheelchair.
