Kendall Jenner was born on 3 November 1995 in LA, California to Bruce and Kris Jenner. She has a younger sister called Kylie and on her mother’s side she has also three older half-sisters: Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and one brother, Rob Kardashian.
There are also four half-siblings from her father's previous two marriages. The aspiring model is best known for being on the family's TV series Keeping up with the Kardashians, based on their glamorous and dramatic lives.
Kendall’s modelling career started when she was signed by Wilhelmina modelling agency when she was just 14-years-old.
The leggy brunette’s first assignment was for a Forever 21 campaign, but it wasn’t until Season 6 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians during a family photoshoot, that Kendall was encouraged to pursue modelling professionally.
From then on her career went full steam ahead, however there was one road bump: her connection to the Kardashian name. “I was like, you know what? I want to be high fashion. I want to be taken seriously…people think that success just came to me. But it didn’t,” the star explained.
“What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn’t take me seriously as a model. Because of the TV show. I went on castings and some people weren’t feeling me because of my name”.
Eventually Kendall got her breakthrough walking for the Marc Jacobs show during New York Fashion Week.
"It was great when people didn't recognise me. I was like 'thank you, please don't recognise me'," Kendall later said.
Since then, she has also been seen on the Chanel catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.
Along with her sister Kylie, Kendall also has her own PacSun clothing line. In addition, the stunning youngster has produced two nail polishes in collaboration with the brand OPI, called “All Kendall-ed Up” and “Kendall on the Katwalk”.
Starring in Givenchy's advert for their Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign, the gorgeous brunette proved that she's a force to be reckoned with. In the campaign, shot by renowed photographers Mert & Marcus, Kendall is virtually unrecognisable with an edgy gothic look featuring slicked back hair, dark lipstick and barely-there eyebrows.
Following in her sister Kim's footsteps, Kendall then starred on the cover of US Vogue, appearing on the teen version of their September 2014 issue.
