Who is Una Healy?

Una Theresa Imogene Healy is an Irish singer/songwriter and TV host born on 10 October 1981 in County TipperaryShe rose to fame in 2008 as a member of girl group, The Saturdays.

Una Healy's career

She represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 as a backing singer for Brian Kennedy on Every Song Is a Cry for Love. The experience gave her the confidence to try her luck in London. She aced her first audition, landing a place in The Saturdays, along with Mollie King, Rochelle Humes, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White. Their first single If This Is Love went to number eight. It was followed by more chart-topping tunes such as Higher, Notorious, Missing You and their first No. 1, What About Us. By 2010, they had sold 2 million records.

Since 2014 she has been pursuing a solo singing career, whilst also appearing on a string of Irish television shows, including presenting Ireland's version of the Pride of Britain awards and as a judge on The Voice of Ireland.

She has also ventured into the fashion industry and in April 2018, unveiled her first shoewear collection named Una Healy Original, which she designed herself. The label is still going strong.

Una Healy's personal life

Una married professional rugby player Ben Foden in 2012, but they divorced in 2018. The two are parents to Aoife Belle and Tadhg. Una did her first post-divorce interview with Hello! saying "I'm taking each day as it comes and just being there for my children." 

At the end of 2022 she was romantically linked to British boxer David Haye, but confirmed their relationship was over by May 2023.
