Sophie and Lady Louise enjoy the Royal Windsor Horse Show with the Queen

The Queen was surrounded by three generations of her family on Saturday when a host of british royals including her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren turned out at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. Britain's monarch was full of cheer as she strolled the grounds at Windsor Castle joined by Prince Edward, his wife Sophie and their children as well as Peter and Autumn Phillips and their daughters.

The Countess of Wessex and her 11-year-old daughter Louise

The Countess of Wessex, who formally greeted her mother-in-law with a curtsey, looked stylish yet practical in jeans, brown boots and a navy padded jacket and wore her blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.Sophie was snapped speaking intently to her 11-year-old daughter Lady Louise Windsor at the sporting event, while her husband Prince Edward was spotted entertaining the couple's son James.

The Queen was full of cheer at Windsor Castle

Louise, who is almost as tall as her mother, echoed Sophie's outfit in jeans, ankle boots and a smart tweed blazer.

The blonde-haired royal enjoyed playing with a bright yellow remote-control Range Rover in between the day's events.

Prince Edward and James, Viscount Severn

Elsewhere at the Berkshire-based event, Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips was busy enjoying the attractions with his Canada-born wife Autumn and their daughters Savannah and Isla.Both little girls, who are the Queen's great-grandchildren along with Mia Tindall, Prince George and newborn Princess Charlotte, sported floral skirts and denim jackets.

The Queen, Sophie and Louise had also all stepped out at the Horse Show on Friday.Joining the royals was mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, who spoke of her delight at being asked to perform in honour the sovereign's 90th birthday in May 2016.

"I have always admired Her Majesty the Queen and that's why I'm so honoured to have been asked to perform at her 90th birthday celebrations next year," she said. "After my involvement in VE Day celebrations last weekend, I was reminded once again of our country's patriotism and the warm feeling of everyone coming together to celebrate."
