The Duchess of Cambridge joined the Queen, Prince Philip and the Middleton family to attend a church service on Sunday morning. The royals and Kate’s family were seen walking to St Mary Magdalene’s church in Sandringham, for a service to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War Gallipoli campaign.Prince George’s mum wrapped up warm in a black polo neck with a brown tweed skirt and blazer by Michael Kors. Clipping her hair up in a chic chignon, the Duchess completed her look with a black fascinator. Also looking fashionable despite the cold weather, was Pippa Middleton. The 32-year-old opted for an egg-shell blue coat with black trimmings, a warm fur hat and black knee-high boots.

During the service Kate was accompanied by family members Carole, Michael and her brother and sister, to watch the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh lay floral wreaths at the Sandringham war memorial cross. The service comes a day after the mother-of-two celebrated her 34th birthday. Although no details were revealed about the royal’s birthday celebrations, Kate no doubt enjoyed the day with her two children, George and Charlotte.

As well as the Duchess’ birthday, the family-of-four had another reason to celebrate on Saturday, as Prince George finished his first few days at nursery. On Wednesday Kate and William dropped off the two-and-a-half-year-old for his first day at Westacre Montessori school in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. To celebrate the milestone day doting mum Kate took a set of pictures of the young Prince as he arrived at the school. The third-in-line to the British throne will be attending the nursery part time for a few hours a day, allowing his mum to look after his sister Charlotte, whilst William continues his work as an air ambulance pilot.
