On Thursday the Queen will celebrate her 90th birthday. In honour of Her Majesty's big day, HELLO! has released a 100-page souvenir edition, that can only be bought as part of a special, great-value package with some copies of this week's magazine.

HELLO! has followed the Queen's reign with fascination and enthusiasm since the magazine was launched 28 years ago. This new commemorative special celebrates her life and loves, her passions and the exemplary way in which she has carried herself over the last four score years and ten.

The Queen will celebrate her 90th birthday on Thursday

Her Majesty has always put duty first. She never complains. She never explains. She is rarely ill. But, as our comprehensive look at our longest-reigning monarch's life shows, her sense of fun and warmth is never far from the surface in her dealings with everyone – from fellow royals to Presidents to the many loyal subjects she has met and charmed.

While she instinctively leans towards the minimum of fuss in her birthday festivities, this year the Queen will have no choice but to embrace the extravaganza.

As well as a private party with her family, her big day will be marked with gun salutes, and beacons lit across the world. May sees concerts in Windsor's Home Park while the very special Patron's Lunch on the Mall in London follows in June.

As always HELLO! will be following events and producing unmatched coverage. So pick up this week's HELLO! and our special souvenir edition, available at all good newsagents and supermarkets. Or download it on iPad, android, kindle fire and more formats, or subscribe today to make sure you don't miss an issue!
