After a jam-packed three days on a tour of Sweden and Norway, Prince William and Kate showed no signs of slowing down on the final day of their trip abroad. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off Friday with a visit to Hartvig Nissen School, which was the location of the hugely popular Norwegian TV show, Skam. Before entering the school, William, 35, and Kate, 36, took part in a walkabout, where they were greeted by an eager sea of fans.

At the school, the Duke and Duchess met with the stars and producers of Skam and heard more about the series. They also spoke to a group of students to learn about the effect Skam had had on young viewers; the hit drama highlights teenagers' lives and the challenges they may face growing up. William and Kate were particularly interested to hear about the role social media plays in their upbringing.

The Duchess, who is carrying out her last tour before her due date in April, looked typically stylish on day four of her trip. She braved the Norwegian cold in a button down maroon coat by Dolce & Gabbana, black gloves, a Mulberry clutch and her trusty black heels.

Kate wore her long brunette tresses loose and accessorised with simple jewellery. She sported a delightful pregnancy glow and her makeup was flawless as always; her skin was perfected with neutral foundation and she wore simple brown eyeshadow, a nude lip and a smattering of mascara. The Duchess looked particularly fresh and full of life, despite having had a late dinner the evening before.

William and Kate were reunited with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit during their visit to the school. The two royal couples had spent the previous day together when Haakon and Mette-Marit welcomed William and Kate at Oslo Gardermoen Airport.

The group enjoyed a private luncheon together at the royal palace, alongside King Harald and Queen Sonja, before visiting the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park, named after Haakon and Mette-Marit's 14-year-old daughter.

William, Kate, Haakon and Mette-Marit posed for a group photo with the stars of Skam at the school. The royals then joined a discussion with students and mental health staff who spoke about the impact of Skam, and the effect it had on bringing important issues out into the open.

Some of these issues included mental illness, homophobia and sexual assault. Following on from the themes of the show, the characters started their own social media profiles to engage with the audience directly, creating an international following and fan base.

The visit was clearly a success with William and Kate, who, back home in the UK, champion the issue of mental health and children's wellbeing.

After their busy morning, the Duke and Duchess were invited back to Haakon and Mette-Marit's official residence - Skaugum - just outside of Oslo, where they sat down for tea in the company of the royal couple's pet dog, Muffins Kråkebolle, a labradoodle. A private lunch followed.

The couple had a change of outfit in the afternoon. Braving the snowy weather, William and Kate headed to Holmenkollen Ski Jump – one of Oslo's most iconic landmarks. They were given a short tour of the museum before ascending to the top of the ski jump to talk with and observe junior ski jumpers from Norway's national team.

Kate wrapped up her baby bump in a fabulous red ski attire, accessorising with a white bobble hat. Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit were also bundled up for the ski outing.

The group then moved down to the Royal Box to observe the jumpers landing. William and Kate were able to see how Norwegians embrace the outdoors in the coldest of temperatures, and champion the importance of exercise and wellbeing.

William and Kate also had the chance to meet a group of local nursery children who were taking part in an afternoon ski school session on the slopes.

Kate crouched down to chat to the adorable children, and warmed her hands at the open fire. She and William also spoke to some of the ski instructors who encourage children to stay active throughout the year.

And that's a wrap! William and Kate's royal tour of Norway has come to a close. As one of their last official actions, the couple happily posed for a big group photo with Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit, before waving goodbye to the youngsters. A tweet from Kensington Palace read: "An incredible end to #RoyalVisitNorway! Thank you to everyone who made The Duke and Duchess feel so welcome."
