The Princess of Wales could join her husband for a major trip abroad in the coming months, according to reports.
Kate, 44, has been tipped to join Prince William for his upcoming Earthshot Prize awards in Mumbai, India, which may also include a trip to the capital, Delhi.
Sources told The Mirror that the Princess is "feeling inspired" by the prospect of travelling to South Asia in November on the diplomatic mission.
The Princess has not attended the Earthshot Prize, William's environmental awards recognising solutions to the planet's most pressing problems, since Boston in 2022.
© WireImageThe paper's Royal Editor Russell Myers said: "Following her successful return to international duties this year, which included her visit to Reggio Emilia in Italy for her early years research, Catherine is very much looking forward to attending the Earthshot Awards in India alongside her husband.
"The fact that she’s planning to go to India is such a huge milestone, not only for her, but for the couple together. It will be almost four years since they travelled to Boston together to attend the Earthshot Awards, and even longer since they took on their major royal tour of the Caribbean."
Kensington Palace declined to comment when contacted by HELLO!.
When did William and Kate last visit India?
William and Kate undertook a week-long tour of India and Bhutan in April 2016.
It included high-profile engagements in cities such as Mumbai and New Delhi, as well as a visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra.
After arriving on a long flight from London, the Princess looked stylish in a bespoke paisley-patterned peplum dress by Alexander McQueen with Gianvito Rossi cream heels.

After visiting the Taj Mahal and posing for an iconic picture in front of the building, William said: "It's a beautiful place, stunning designs in there. It is beautiful, isn't it? It was overwhelming."
King Charles and Queen Camilla were scheduled to visit India in 2022, but the tour was cancelled following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Kate previously attended the Earthshot Prize ceremonies in London in 2021 and Boston in 2022.

However, the royal couple has not travelled together abroad in an official capacity since the Princess's cancer diagnosis in 2024.
The last time William and Kate, who is now in remission, travelled abroad together for work was to Jordan in June 2023 for the royal wedding between Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa.
Their last royal tour was of the Caribbean in 2022 to mark the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
