Following the successful first day of their official tour of Sweden and Norway, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge once again dazzled crowds as they arrived at the Karolinska Institute in Solna, Sweden on Wednesday morning. Accompanied by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, the British royals, who are on a four-day tour of Sweden and Norway, were greeted with cheers and applause from well-wishers. Here, they met with academics and practitioners to discuss Sweden's approach to managing mental health challenges, including the impact of physical activity on mental health.

Their Royal Highnesses also heard about the Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) programme run by the National Association for Suicide Research and Prevention of Mental Ill Health (NASP). Kate, 36, looked fabulous in a red and white tailored Catherine Walker coat, which was teamed with a Alexander McQueen dress and earrings by Swedish designer In2Design.

Their visit to the institute comes the morning after they dined with Swedish stars from the worlds of movies, the arts, sport and television at a glittering reception celebrating the Nordic country's cultural life. See here for the first day of the royal tour…

Kate, who is pregnant with her third child, opted for a striking red and white Catherine Walker coat. She styled the look further with a maroon Chanel bag and fringed leather pumps from Italian label Tod's. Her brunette tresses were preened to perfection in loose waves, while her pretty facial features were accentuated with muted tones of makeup.

The royal couple waved and smiled at the crowd as they entered the building. After their visit to the Karolinska Institute, the two couples will head to Matteusskolan, a comprehensive school in the heart of the city centre.

Both Kate and Princess Victoria greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. While Kate opted for red houndstooth, her host wore a chic pink coat over a soft teal two-piece suit. The Swedish royal accessorised her outfit with a Stella McCartney clutch.

The British royal couple have made campaigning on mental health issues one of the central themes of their public working lives. Their Heads Together mental health campaign saw a series of events staged last year to encourage Britons to talk about their psychological problems or provide a sympathetic ear for others.
