Taking over!
Hello, it's Isabelle here, taking over the reins.
I will be keeping you updated to date with all things royal this afternoon!
Kate's surprise arrival
The Princess of Wales has stepped out for a surprise royal away day in Leicester, 300 miles away from her husband, Prince William.
During her solo visit to the Midlands, Kate, 44, celebrated the culture, community and heritage of the British-Indian community in the city on Thursday, following the Hindu spring festival of Holi.
The Princess looked stylish as ever in a cream jacket and matching coat, and was presented with a red flower garland necklace upon arrival. She said: "Thank you so much for having me. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the work I've heard some fantastic things."

King of the pasties... sort of!
While his beautiful wife, the Princess of Wales, was getting decked out in a beautiful garland, Prince William tried his hand at pasty making.
During his aforementioned visit to Gear Farm Pasty Company in Helston, which is run by Dave and Ann Webb and their children, Jemma and Michael, William created what he coined as a "passable" pasty, with the future King admitting that he "needs his wife", who would have been very good at the preparations.
As the prince spooned potatoes into the pasties in the bakery, he joked: “Don't worry, I can take full criticism."
William was then shown how to crimp a pasty by Miss Webb, who runs the bakery.
As he folded over the pastry, he said, "Oh my goodness, there’s a lot more going into this than I thought. I feel I may be taking this one home guys. Everyone loves a trier."
The Prince went on: "I appreciate the comments, but this is not my finest hour. This is where I need my wife; she would be all over this."
Admiring the finished pasty, William joked: “It looks like a slightly ill crab. It’s alright, passable. Yours look so perfect.
“It's really not easy, is it? This is something machinery can’t help with. It all has to be handmade.” William's pasty was adorned with a 'W'.
Over in Spain
After inaugurating a new edition of ARCO, the Contemporary Art Fair, King Felipe and Queen Letizia's schedules haven't stopped.
The royal couple have now travelled from IFEMA to the centre of Madrid to open the Royal Palace to the new Grand Dukes of Luxembourg, who are in Spain for the first time on an official visit on a presentation trip that also serves to deepen relations between the two countries.
Dancing (future) Queen!
Now we know the Princess of Wales has a penchant for getting stuck in when it comes to sport, but judging by her recent outing, the same now goes for dancing.
Kate was photographed looking delighted as she joined in with a dance during the Holi celebrations!
Under the radanne
The Princess Royal made a rather under-the-radar visit to University College London.
The senior royal, 75, stepped out at the Bloomsbury campus to meet the students and staff involved in commemorating UCL’s landmark anniversary and to formally reopen UCL’s renovated Wilkins Building Cloisters.
The Princess Royal visited UCL in her role as Chancellor of the University of London, of which UCL is a member institution. The visit comes almost 100 years after King George V and Queen Mary visited UCL to mark the institution's centenary in June 1927.
Spellbinding Sassa
Princess Alessandra of Hanover, who goes by Sassa, never fails when it comes to her fashion, and looked spectacular when she shared a slew of fabulous photos from her recent Ski trip.
Taking to Instagram, Sassa penned: "A winter pause," alongside a slew of wintry emojis.
As well as rocking a gorgeous Perfect Moment ski jacket, Sassa also rocked a gorgeous all-black ensemble during her time on the slopes.

Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi escapes to luxury island with just 800 residents
Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is spending time on an exclusive island that has only around 800 residents. The property developer posted that he had travelled to the Fisher Island Club, off the coast of Miami in Florida.
In a series of photos shared to Instagram, Edoardo, 42, visited a construction site that was likely related to his work. There was no sign in the shots of his wife Beatrice, 37, or their two children, daughters Sienna, three, and Athena, one, suggesting he travelled there alone.
